Melissa Kent - Integrative Psychotherapist
Mind to Movement
I offer a compassionate, integrative approach to therapy that supports both mind and body. My work combines evidence-based psychological therapies, including CBT, with a somatic approach that gently reconnects you with your body and inner experience.
Through my practice, Mind to Movement, I support people who may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or disconnected from themselves. Together, we explore not just thoughts and behaviours, but also the deeper patterns held in the body.
I draw on Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you understand and relate to different parts of yourself with curiosity and compassion. Alongside this, I integrate body-based practices such as breathwork, grounding, and gentle movement, supporting you to feel more present, regulated, and connected.
Sessions are collaborative and tailored to you. You don’t need any prior experience with yoga or body-based work; this approach is accessible, gentle, and paced according to your needs.
My aim is to offer a safe, supportive space where meaningful change can happen. Helping you build resilience, develop self-awareness, and move towards a greater sense of balance.
